design a necklace

Ages 9+

Using a decoupage technique you'll make a gorgeous necklace with a soft felt backing. You'll learn how to use traditional jewellery making tools to add jump rings and clasps to complete your necklace. All materials provided.

Mum can join in too

Ages 9+

Bring along an old sock (give it a good sniff first to make sure it's clean!) and turn it into your very own character. Make pets, monsters or curious critters. We'll have different designs to suit different abilities so anyone can join in ... you don't have to be whizz at sewing. We'll provide all the stuffing and materials for embellishment.

ceramic hearts

Saturday April 7th
4 - 5 pm

Ages 9+

Working with white earthenware clay you'll be making cute ceramic dangles to hang in your room. Learn how to decorate the surface with slips, stamps, textures and sprigs (small press moulded embellishments). We'll fire and glaze your work for you ready to collect two weeks later.

Ages 12+

scented hearts and fishes

Saturday May 12th
4 - 6 pm £8

Choose to make either a lavender scented fish or heart. You'll hand sew your piece and decorate the surface using your own design ideas. Finally you'll stuff your piece of work with gorgeous scented dried lavender. Hang in your wardrobe or pop in your drawer to keep your clothes smelling fresh. All materials provided.
